Colorado and Utah – The Autumn Barn

So many photos in the world are planned.  This one was about as far from planned as they get.  I’d originally gone up into the Uintas with aspens in mind.  I whipped the car around onto a side road, gravel flying suddenly and pulled to a stop 100 yards or so beyond the barn to keep the car out of any shots I took. The barn turned out to be owned by the United States Forest Service and no one was in sight. There were clearly no animals in the pasture around the barn so I climbed over the gate and began shooting.  This shot and the other I link to below were the results.
