An image and a SALE!!

At one point this was entirely a photography blog, mostly intended to promote my photography and attempt to generate some sales.  In time it evolved to an outlet for poetry, for thoughts on social issues, and it’s not actually had a photo for photo’s sake in months.

So without further ado, I give you “November Dawn”.

Dawn finally reaches the floor of Echo Park at the confluence of the Yampa and Green Rivers, deep in the heart of Dinosaur National Monument.

This shot was taken back when I was working in Colorado.  The chance finally came to visit Echo Park without being on other people’s schedule, and this is one of the photos that emerged from that.  Believe it or not there was a time that the federal government wanted to flood this entire canyon in its attempts to green the western deserts.

As to the sale, this weekend, from Friday the 29th thru til Monday December 1st, I’m having a 33% off sale from my profits for the first fifty customers who enter the code below when prompted at checkout.  Remember this is off my profit, not the total price of the images, so the math will look a little screwy.  Remember, the code won’t work until Thursday.

I’m sure you can find a piece you love amongst these:  http://fineartamerica.com/profiles/joshua-house.html?tab=artworkgalleries
