I’ve a pair of potential stories that I am working on one of which I intend to develop throughout November as part of NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month).
One is set in a world where Mexico retained Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California settling them with displaced Famine Irish and other Catholic diaspora from Europe, while Gran Columbia and the Federal Republic of Central America did not collapse.
The other novel is centered around a white news photographer covering the Civil Rights movement for major national news papers and magazines while seeking justice for his murdered friend who he served with in Korea. It follows a more conventional arc.
I will post samples from both later this evening. Please let me know which you’d prefer to read more of.
